MANAGING DIRECTOR: NICOLAS LEDEN

Nick Leden, a very humble man with an enormous heart. Our Managing Director began drumming at a very early age and played professionally in several Sydney bands from 1974 for a total of 12 years. He owned and ran a full touring production rig including an 8 ton truck, concert PA, backline and 72 can light show plus specials and fogger. Nick also enjoyed working with Jands & Australian Concert Touring (Australia's largest touring production companies).

 

Nick started off loading with them and then became supervisor, moving onto event crew coordinating and then crew boss. Following this, Nick worked as a Theatrical Agent developing a major touring circuit from Southern Sydney, as far south as Tathra and back through the central west covering many major towns that were starved of recording acts. As well as developing this touring circuit, Nick also acted as Tour Manager for the artists.

In 1988, Nick decided to take a break from the entertainment industry and bought an inner Sydney Hotel, the "Lord Wolseley Hotel," where he worked as Licensee / Publican until 1993. After an extensive trip overseas Nick then settled in South East Queensland.

"To date, I have enjoyed working, tour managing and touring with acts such as: Elton John, The Police, Kiss, Alice Cooper, Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, The Motels, George Benson, Nick Kershaw, The Pogues, Convertible Blondes, The Furey’s, Clannad, Cold Chisel, Moving Pictures, Icehouse, INXS, Rose Tattoo, Dragon, The Radiators, Daddy Cool, Jimmy Barnes, The Black Sorrows, John Paul Young, Taxiride, Wendy Matthews, Vanessa Amorosi, Diesel, Noiseworks, Ross Wilson, Joe Camilleri, James Reyne, Brian Cadd, Daryl Braithwaite, Renee Geyer, Pseudo Echo, Kush and Kids In The Kitchen."

In 2000, Nick began working with a National entertainment agency, becoming a business partner in 2003 until December 2008; Also in 2004, to further utilize his knowledge of the Entertainment Industry, he developed a high profile touring company by the name of, “Check One Touring” which is currently touring acts & celebrities throughout Australia & overseas.

In 2009 Nick launched “Addictive Entertainment” as an agency to cater for extensive entertainment & event provision including National and International musical acts, speakers, celebrities, roving characters, themed and specialty performers. We also look after the production needs required to guarantee a successful event in the public, private or corporate sectors.
